This bird looks frozen in the middle of the air in a security camera footage
Security footage has never looked as interesting as the one that Al Brooks from Austin,Texas uploaded recently which showed a bird peering into the camera with stationary wings in the middle of the air. Of course, the bird was not suspended by any string but its flapping wings matched the frame rate of the camera hence creating a stroboscopic illusion. The video looks like a work of black magic but is easily explainable scientifically as moving objects tend to look frozen when relative motion is absent from the background, which was just the case here!
