If you happen to love cats, you are bound to love those people even more who go an extra mile just to take care of their feline friends. You can find loads of such people in the city of Bern, Switzerland. Swiss writer and graphic designer Brigitte Schuster recently came up with the idea of documenting the cat ladders that people place in this city to facilitate cats into coming and going from high rise windows of residential buildings. Schuster then witnessed a vast variety of cat ladders ranging from readymade ones to ones made with the help of stacking several mailboxes or other household stuff.
Schuster has written the book in English and German, making it a bilingual book and has made sure to put some perspective in it by incorporating cultural symbolism that is related to ladders in this city and in Switzerland. We assure you that this book is definitely a fun read with lots of facts and photographs.
