Kenguru Seat-less Electric Hatchback for Wheelchair Users

Someone out there realized the need of mobility vehicles for the wheelchair users that one can drive independently. Kenguru seat-less electric hatchback provides that freedom of mobility to the wheelchair users that will allow them to move around freely without requiring anyone’s assistance.

Kenguru seat-less electric hatchback is a 7 by 5 feet small car that can be accessed by a wheelchair rolling right through the rear hatch of the vehicle. The rear hatch opens via remote control. The car utilizes motorcycle-style handlebars for steering.

Kenguru only goes to 25 mph and is primarily designed for short city trips e.g. going down the street for work or fetching items from the grocery store. Kenguru seat-less electric hatchback can travel upto 60 miles on an eight-hour charge.

Kenguru is priced at US$25,000 and is expected to go into production in 12-18 months’ time.
