Soak in the Beauty of New Zealand by Staying in These Tiny Glass Houses
One could say that all the hotels all around the world are more or less the same with their furnished looks and comfortable environment however, there is one thing that sets them apart; the view. New Zealand based travel experts, ‘New Zealand in Depth’ have come up with tiny glass houses for tourists who want to take in the view of spellbinding location at every single moment of their stay.
The company has established four such houses and have named them PurePods as the structures provide a pure, unobstructed view to the majestic landscape of South Island. The pods are furnished in a traditional way with all the home-like comforts except for the services of internet, TV and cellular coverage so that the visitors can enjoy the nature in all its glory, without the distraction of technology.
The beautiful glass houses are not just simplistic in looks but also purely environment-friendly in nature. The structures are completely solar powered and rely on filtered rainwater for water consumption and natural composting for solid waste management.
PurePods can be rented for $225 per night for one person and it certainly feels like a small price to pay for the exquisite view one can get from the glass house of star-filled sky at night and gorgeous lake, mountains and glaciers surrounding the Banks of Peninsula during the day.
