Paco Pomet’s humorous yet thought-provoking art does not miss even a single beat when it comes to making the viewers aware of the challenges that human life on Earth is trapped into. His satirical ways of incorporating global warming into his art has caused many to see his paintings as social commentary, revealing the harsh truth of the present and the debacles of the future if we keep on going the way we are.
Pomet has cleverly shown how the closest things to glaciers that we would have in the future would be white tents and how the sun would set upon us to mark the last evening of earth. However, it is commendable that the artist has touched upon all these harsh topics in a way that encourages discussions rather than haunting people away.
