The Selfie Syndrome Hits The Museums

Someone here is turning the old portraits hanging by the museum walls into selfie art.

Danish art director Olivia Muus thought of this bizarre idea to make the portrait paintings look like as if their subjects are taking selfies by simply putting a smartphone in front of their faces. Olivia stated:

“This is a project that started when my friend and I went to the National Gallery of Denmark in Copenhagen. I took a picture for fun and liked how this simple thing could change their character and give their facial expression a whole new meaning.”
