Don’t understand the complex concepts of science and mathematics? Well maybe these colourful artistic representation by Los Angeles-based artist Jen Stark will help you understand theories of infinity, geometry and evolution. The artist creates these pieces using wood, paper and metal however, it is the multiple layers that she creates with them that grasps one’s attention. However, unlike other creative artists, these layers are not used as a tool to give volume to the art pieces but to give them mathematical and scientific meaning instead. Some of her pieces are suspended from the ceiling while some lay flat, flaunting the folds of the bright papers on them but whatever their position may be, they garner the same attention from people who relate science and mathematics to art and vice versa.
