Having fruity loops in breakfast, listening to old pop songs, fighting deliberately for TV remote – there are a lot of ways to reminisce our hearty childhood however, Cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20 in Seoul has found the most unique way ever to take us back to the carefree days.
The café takes you to a cartoon world with its comic strip interior, including the floors, furniture and walls. The whole space makes use of 2D optical illusion to make everything look like it belongs to a cartoon show instead of the real world. Even the cutlery, dishes and mugs seem quite cartoonish, as if they are flat straight lines and not real 3D objects.
