This colourful floral art will leave you completely awestruck
If you are a true artist, you can see art in everything and make art from anything! Seattle-based artist Bridget Beth Collin is one great example of such an artist. Collin makes beautiful illustrations merely from flowers, twigs and stones which she finds as she walks around her neighborhood and the Pacific Northwest. The artist picks up these natural elements and arranges them aesthetically, taking extra care of the vibrant contrasts between the hued flowers.
While talking about her process, Collins said, “I began foraging for flora during a hard time in my life. Searching for flowers was like a balm for my heart. I loved bringing them home and discovering what animals or scenes they reminded me of. It was like a secret to unlock. Eventually I shared them with others, as a reminder that beauty and magic is hidden in unlikely places, just within our grasp, if we would only seek it out.”
