This concrete house in Italy is picture perfect

What do you think are the traits of a perfect Instagram-able house? We’ve jotted some down. Concrete structure, wooden accents, geometrical elements and a pinch of pink! Yes, a house with all that and some huge windows, looking out at beautiful landscape is what makes it picture perfect. MoDusArchitects has recently designed such a home in Bressanone, Italy for a client who happens to be a hotshot owner of a furniture store in Italy.

The house has a clever pentagonal layout hence there is no front or back but instead a “rotating continuum of living spaces,” as the architects call it. Fit for a family of five, it has the warmth of Italian countryside but the class and colour palette of contemporary architecture. The home is clad in concrete from the outside as well as in the interior, in the form of polished concrete floors and raw concrete walls. The cedar planks lining the ceiling however, brings contrast to the interior while the shades of pinks, taupes and cool grays add further charisma to the house. In short, it an extremely Instagram-able house that anyone would die to have in this age!
