This concrete house is anything but plain
Kirschgarten House is situated right in the middle of Allschwil Forest and the city of Basel, and is designed by the renowned Buchner Bründler Architekten so, leave it up to your imagination on how wonderful its architecture must be. The structure might look too plain and possibly a little suffocated due to its concrete façade, hidden by tall black fence but the opinions about this double-storied house quickly change when one steps in and sees its beautifully designed interior.
The Kirschgarten House is designed in an open floor plan style with a spacious open-plan living area, kitchen and dining area while the upper floor comprises of the master suite and three bedrooms. The bedrooms and the open drawing-dining area overlook the immaculately maintained garden and swimming pool while the interior of the house looks minimalist yet classical due to the presence of built-in furniture, brass fitting, concrete chimney and the oak cabinets. If this isn’t a perfect family home, we don’t know what is!
